追記
今回のブログは、まさかニッポンでこんなことが起こるわけないと、平和ボケのニッポンに警鐘を鳴らすために3/2に書いたもの。東日本巨大地震を目の当たりにして、このブログを消去してしまおうかと、なんとも虚しい感情が流れている。なにも起こらない平和な日常が続くだろうと思ったからこそ、ひとつの未来を夢見るロマンとしてPost-Apocalyptic Entityというコンセプトを持って来たのだが、現実にこの酷い災害を突きつけられると、シャレにもならない。しかし、おそらくこの東日本巨大地震は、人々の古い価値観や意識を根底から覆したし、3日前とはまったく違った世の中や世界に変容したことは確かだ。我々はこの地球上になんのために生きているのだろう。いまが、それを考えるチャンスなのかも知れない。

惑星エックス( 超巨大惑星ニビル )の接近 、強い太陽フレアの放出、地球の自転に伴う極が現在の位置から移動しているポールシフト、各地で起こっているプレート運動や断層運動と密接に関係している地殻変動、地震、異常気象、UFO現象など、ネット上での宇宙や地球上で起こっているリアルな裏情報、予言として特別ではない普通の個人が発信している、" 東海アマの書き込みやツイッター " 、 " In Deep / 地球最期のニュースと資料 " 、 " Kazumoto Iguchi's blog " 、 " メモ・独り言・戯言 " 、 " 地震雲-前兆-空の掲示板 " などを時々チェックしていると、彼ら個人が書き込む情報の信憑性の高さに、マヤ歴の終わる2012年に世界はほんとうに終わってしまうんじゃないかと、思わずにいられないほど、不思議な超常現象が世界の至る所で起こっている。
それにしても周囲を見ているともう資本主義なんて崩壊しているよとしかいいようがないほど、誰もが金に追い回される生活を強いられているし ( 勿論ボクもその一人だが ) 、ボクのまわりのひとびとが発する心の中の集積された塊のような、すっかり荒んでしまった集合的無意識の、暗い空気は、救いようのないほど、ますます陰鬱に拡張していっている。映画でも最近はポスト終末論的実在 ( post- apocalyptic entity ) を描いた作品が多くリリースされているが、音楽の世界でも、先端のテクノと、80年代中期のインダストリアルでシュールな世界が融合しながら、2012年の黙示録世界とリンクして大きな流れを形成しつつある。思えばこうした黙示録的ヴィジョンや音楽にしか、未来を見いだすことができない閉塞したフィールドに我々はいま立っているとも言えるのだろう。つい先日2011年2月26日ロシアに現れた謎の現象、オカルト（occult）を信じているわけではないが、 目で見たり、触れて感じたりすることのできない " 隠されたもの" を目の前に突きつけられると、我々の知識体系は無惨にも崩れていく。考えれば考えるほど、相も変わらず不思議な世界に我々は生きている。

Matt Radio Slave is to present the debut album from his new collaborative artist project this autumn. Rekids will release The Machine's 'RedHead' longplayer in November 2010.
Anticipation has been building since The Machine's 'Fuse' single suddenly appeared on the Innervisions label last summer but Matt has kept the full details of his new moniker under wraps until now.
The Machine project will bring together music, art and film. Australian pop artist and clothing designer Misha Holenbach from Perks And Mini has created an image for each track of the album, and these will be shown in special The Machine gallery events -- details to be announced soon. In addition esteemed underground film makers Jigoku are currently completing a special short film inspired by the album. This is the first edit of the video for one of the tracks.
The Machine album will be released on Rekids, while these collaborative elements will be the responsibility of Pyramids Of Mars, a new offshoot imprint. This offshoot of the reknowned Rekids label will focus on multi-media and art based projects (including books, toys and films), allowing Rekids to focus purely on audio; single and album releases from artists such as Radio Slave, Nina Kraviz and Mr G.
Matt comments: "The idea of recycling and creating collages has been something that I've been doing since art school from working with a photocopy machine and a scalpel blade. With The Machine I wanted to explore this through the medium of music and create sound collages from found sources and music from around the globe. I also wanted to pull together visual artists who's work capture the spirit of recycling and so played the first demos to Misha when The Machine was very much in its infancy. Misha's work with his P.A.M label has always been an inspiration to me and I'm really happy that he understood the nature of this project and produced an image for each track. Jigoku's style is similarly collage based and I'm very excited to see where the music has taken them. The music itself is a departure from what people might expect from me, but I've always wanted to make an electronic LP that captures a sense of travel. It feels like a natural progression."

タイトルの " feedforward " とは【医療】先行予測型医療，フィードフォワード ( ハイテク技術を駆使して，これまでのような病状を検査するだけに止まらず，発病の因果関係を突き止め病気の予防に役立てようとする米国の新しい医療分野 ) という意味らしい。または制御理論、生理学またはコンピューティングにおけるシステム。あるいは、ひずみ補償回路付増幅器　フィードフォワード方式　( Feedforward system )　増幅器のひずみは、携帯電話では、受信帯域への妨害、テレビなどのシステムでは、隣接チャンネルへの妨害などの影響を及ぼすなどの、低ひずみの増幅器の意味もある。2002年に活動を始めたSandwell Districtの、ポストパンク /インダストリアルの態度はジョン・メンデスのアートワークと音響構築に負うところが大きい。ここに未来を引き出す最も良い方法が隠されている。

Shackleton - Fireworks

**HURFDURFLOLWHAT
Second of two crucial Shackleton singles on Honest Jon's, weighted with dynamic remixes by T++ and Mordant Music. In contrast to the coffin intensity of 'Deadman', 'Fireworks' is widescreen and viewed from above (perhaps best imagined from the perspective of the unfortunate soul in Gaspar Noé's 'Enter The Void'?), suspended in up-drafting columns of ghoulish synth voices, silvery hi-hats and convulsing kicks evaporated from viscous subs way below. With 'Undeadman' his zombied cadaver arises again, divined like a worm from the ground by plunging subs to join the skull disco on consecrated ground. T++ is similarly averse to gravity, his agile rebuild feeling like it's being dragged upwards by the chest, limbs carving 'ardcore torque in mid-air, buffeted by sub-harmonic turbulence. There's a reference to his classic Dynamo 12" in the title 'Außen Vor', but we haven't the foggiest what it means. Kindred darkside shamen, Mordant Music plays the 'Undeadman' like a dread-dub marionette, trapped in halfstep inertia at the centre of a dizzying atmospheric pressure system. Essential!

時代が変わるときには、必ず大きな事件が起こる。ゼロ年代、2001年9.11の同時多発テロから、テン年代、先日2011年3.11の東日本大震災まで、我々の日常生活のうえでいま起こっている最も注視しなけれなならない大きな変容は、過去の価値観/世界観が根底から覆されたということだろう。いままで信じていた社会の中枢を独占してきた既存のそれらの自滅のプロセスが9.11の頃から加速し始め、3.11の大災害で一気に吹き出し、そのことによって民意が目覚め、時代が大きく変わろうとする渦中に我々は立っているというほうがいいのだろうか。これを機会に変わらなければならないのは我々のほうで、もう一度脱皮して新しい自分を見つけろということか。3月11日以後、まるで時間が止まってしまったかのように、ひとびとの顔は思考停止し無表情で、余震が起こる度に不安気で、ただテレヴィのスィッチを入れたまま地震速報をチェックし、福島の原発事故と放射能汚染の真の情報を知ろうと釘付けになっている。ボクは音楽業界を離れた80年代中期の頃から、電通や広告代理店、電気会社に支配されたマスゴミ( マスメディア ) から流れる情報など端から興味なく信じてなどいなかったが、そうは言っても今回の大震災以後は、やはりテレヴィを付けっ放しにして関係者の右往左往した狼狽振りと、深刻な事態を隠蔽する情けなさを、チラチラ盗み見していた。放射能の問題は今後、土壌に放射性物質がどう濃縮/拡散されていくかや東北北関東難民問題など、その後遺症のほうがよほど大きいように思える。それともし近いうちに東海大地震が起ころうものなら、福井県敦賀市の高速増殖炉「もんじゅ」や、浜岡原発のことも気になる。この不幸な最悪のシナリオはまだ始まったばかりで、これからも日々、様々な難問題が我々の生活に津波 ( Hydrophobic ) のように襲ってくるだろう。覚悟を決めよう。なぜなら先端音楽はますますPost - Apocalyptic Entityの様相を深めていっているからだ。それと同時に豊かさと贅沢三昧のうえにある、ロジェ・カイヨワの言うイリンクス（めまい）" 遊び " の役割 しかはたせない音楽の力のなさを、ほとほと思い知らされる。

ディムダイク・ステア (DEMDIKE STARE)は、マイルス・ワイテカーとショーン・キャンティ ( Fifinders Keepers レーベル ) によるユニット。ベーシックチャンネル以後、エクスペリメンタルなミニマルダブは、こうしたシネマチックでインダストリアルなサウンドスケープを持つものへと変遷していっている。アンディー・ヴォーテルの60年代的モダン・シャーマニックなアートワークも、彼らの世界には不可欠。このCDは、ディムダイク・ステアがリリースしたForest Of Evil、Liberation Through Hearing、Voices Of Dustの3枚のCDがコンパイルされたもの。T++からモノレイク、シャックルトンなど、不吉なインダストリアル・ダブの流れはこれから世界中に感染していくだろう。

James Ruskin & Karl O’Connor (Regis) send their O/V/R track ‘Post-Traumatic Son’
for American Techno therapy from DVS1 and Rob Hood. In stern form, Hood comes
with a lean and pneumatic pounder featuring ghostly gothic voices in the ether,
while Klockworks contributor, DVS1 gives two versions; a deadly, dubbed-out and
driving ‘Pessimist’ mix for the 8am dynamos, and a leaner ‘Optimist’ mix with
sweet chord progressions.

イギリスのJames RuskinとKarl O'Connorによるユニット。バリバリ音を発てるベースライン、地を這うごとく不気味に流れるシューという深い効果音、金切り声などなど、現在のクラブシーンの先端にみられるインダストリアル・ダブ・テクノの特徴がすべて凝縮されている。ジェームズ・ラスキンはSandwell Districtから2009年にリリースされたコンピレーション " Los Perdidos / Una Compilación " にも参加しているし、 近いうちに "Radical Simple Practice" と "Mad Oput - 1/2" という作品がリリースされる予定だ。こうした音楽をボクが取り上げているのは、Post-Traumatic Sonというタイトルの " 外傷(性)の; 精神的外傷性子孫 " という言葉に、なにか我々がいま立っている時代を気付かされてというのが大きい。

Profile:
Lucy: producer, DJ, founder of Stroboscopic Artefacts. That’s probably how you know him. But there’s also Luca Mortellaro, a published author, experimental sound designer, and the man behind the Lucy moniker. There’s no doubt that the two are linked, but it’s certainly the hidden facets of Luca Mortellaro that are responsible for the dynamic output of Lucy.
In 2005 Lucy left his native Italy for Paris. In search of romance? Perhaps. The fact that the very first demo he ever sent was noticed by James Holden and that he’s now releasing on Luke Slater’s Mote Evolver, makes Lucy’s story more than romantic, it’s fit for the silver screen. As he delved deeper into electronic music Lucy made the essential move from Paris to Berlin. It was here he launched record label Stroboscopic Artefacts a platform that illuminates pioneering electronic music. Under Lucy’s careful curation Stroboscopic Artefacts has garnered international attention and emerged as one of the most exciting labels in the scene.
Lucy’s DJ sets are techno layered with deep dub and textured with lucid IDM. Never one to shy away from ripping into the peak time and equally in his element playing the ecstatic afterhours, elegance is the foundation of his approach. He manages to refuse the obvious and yet satisfies dancefloors’ appetites for the unexpected. A quick listen to his CLR podcast, Resident Advisor mix or the Modyfier process will attest to one thing: his elusive approach is too angular for genres and pigeon holes. It’s this quality that’s seen him grace the decks at Berghain, Fabric, New York’s Oktave party and Mexico’s Bar America.
With a host of EPs and remixes released and forthcoming on the most influential labels such as Prologue, Mote Evolver and CLR, looking towards the future is exciting. インダストリアルなダブテクノは、クラブミュージックの文脈にあるものではなく、ロックの文脈がベーシック・チャンネル以後のこうした動向を吸収したものと、とらえたほうがいいだろう。Virgil EnzingerのDark Sidedなどをチェックしても、エレクトロニック・ボディや工業神秘主義も知らない音楽などまるで聴いていない踊るだけの体育会系バカ・クラウドやDJ、80年代中期以後なんら前進できなかったロック・バカには、まったく理解し得ないものかもw。音楽的センスという点では3流でダサいが強度という点では、ロックに負けてはいないw。しかしT++、モノレイク、Schackleton、Scuba、Actress、Demdike Stare、Pinchなどこれらの流れは、ベルリンやロンドンを拠点に、ある特定のスノビッシュなコミュニティのなかで、もっと大きく波及していくだろう。
