＜作品解説＞
90年代後半以降の日本の電子音響音楽シーンを牽引し、若手の育成にも尽力し支え続けてきた現代音楽作曲家の成田和子の作品集。これまでに数多くの電子音響音楽作品を作曲しているが、本作品は、ドローン／アンビエント要素の強い作品をセレクトした内容である。伝統的なフランスのピエールシェフェール流ミュージック・コンクレートの流れをおさえつつ、成田独自の解釈によるアクースマティック理論に基づいた作品集である。

成田和子
電子音響音楽との出会いは、1980 年代にパリ国立高等音楽院で、ミュージック・コンクレート（ピエール・シェフェール）の伝統を引き継ぐ電子音響音楽作曲クラスで学んだ時である。オープンリールに巻かれたテープを切り貼りして、ステューダーのテープデッキ 3 台を用いてミキシングを行なった。スタジオなど制作環境に恵まれなかったため、一時期、電子音響音楽の作曲を中断し、アクースティック作品の作曲に専念する。1997 年からコンピュータを用いて電子音響音楽の作曲を再開し、以後、多数の作品が日本およびヨーロッパのフェスティバルやコンサートで上演されている。音と音楽・創作工房 116（ACSM116）の運営委員として毎年、アンスティチュ・フランセ東京における CCMC (Contemporary Computer Music Concert)の企画開催に携わっている。また、近作の現代オペラ “YUMÉ”(フランス政府委嘱作品)の初演/再演(パリ、ランス、ツゥーロン)は話題を呼んだ。同志社女子大学学芸学音楽学科教授。
Kazuko NARITA
Her encounter with electro-acoustic music dates back to the years 1980s when she was at the Paris National Music Conservatory in a class which followed the tradition of “musique concrète (Pierre Schaeffer)”. She worked with a tape which she cut in various pieces and then pasted the cut-up by hand on a reel. She then mixed the result of several tapes with 3 tape recorders Studer.
For a while she had no opportunity to work within a studio. She composed only acoustic music. Thanks to the computer she could start again her electro-acoustic composition in the 1990’s. These new works have been presented in festivals and concerts in Europe and Japan.
As a member of the musical association ACSM116, she takes part every year in the organization of the concerts CCMC in collaboration with Institut français Tokyo.
Her opera “YUMÉ” (a commission from the French Ministry of Culture, France) which was presented in 2014 in Paris, Reims and Toulon, was well received. Kazuko NARITA teaches at the Department of Music, Doshisha Women’s college, Kyoto, Japan.
