どちらかといえばアートロックやサイケデリック・ロックと呼ばれる系統のロックを聴き漁っていた。60年代サンフランシスコのヘイトアシュベリーでのヒッピー・カルチャーに少なからず影響され、ジェローム・ラグニ／ジェームズ・ラドー 原作の映画/演劇 " Hair " で5th Dimensionが歌った " アクエリアス " の、精神解放の、エイジ・オブ・アクエリアス ( 水瓶座 ) 時代の
到来を無邪気に夢見たものである ( 事実上は2500年から、または2009年の2月14日のバレンタインデーに惑星直列に近い天体ショーが行われていたその日がアクエリアスの時代の幕開けだとも言われているが ) 。ロック・ミュージックのなかに隠され、暗示されたもの、それらは数えられないほどの世界認識の拡張/意識変容をボクにもたらしてくれた。70年代のイアン・カーティスの自殺以後、ロックからニューウェイヴ、エレクトロニック、クラブ・ミュージックへと音楽は変遷していったが、イギリスの音楽シーンで81年からイギリス国外追放処分を受ける'92年までの間、ロックにある祭儀的で陶酔に浸れる音楽をリアルに追い求めて実践し、常にサイケデリック・バロキスム世界を構築し続けていた男がひとりだけいた。それはジェネシス・P・オーリッジだが、インダストリアル・レコード、スロッビング・グリッスルを解散/総括し

た後の彼のテンプル・オブ・サイキック・ユース、ハイパーデリックというコンセプトによる音楽には、人間の潜在能力や心の底の深淵に秘そむものを白日の下に曝け出し取り除くかのような、呪術的、神秘主義、オカルティック、プリミティヴな人間の根源的なエネルギーの解放と意識の覚醒、世界が歌われていた。「 セックスの力を啓示と自己強化の手段として用いることは、さまざまなオカルト結社によって実践されてきた方法である。東方聖堂教団オルド・テンプリ・オリエンティス（OTO）もそうだ。1902年にドイツで設立された東方聖堂教団、その9年後に、アレイスター･クロウリーによってイギリスで復興された。現在もその流れを汲むものは多い。1980年代の初めにポップミュージシャン、ジェネシス･P･オーリッジによって設立された、テンプル･オブ(OV)･サイキック･ユースは、クローリーから深い影響を受けたグループである。そのメンバー達は性魔術を行うことを重要視し、こう主張する。 " 汝、サイキック･ユース聖堂の･オブ(OV)生命知覚力とその性的能力に、限界はない " ( 23net.tv / 2net Blog Ktai editionから抜粋 ) 。 ｣このジェネシスの性魔術のメッセージも粋な感覚で受け流さないと、シリアス過ぎると世界の混沌の淵に連れて行かれ2度と戻れなくなるなるが、ロックとセックス、ドラッグなんて昔から決して切り離せない三位一体のものだし、彼のセックス好きも当時から有名な話だ。ひとのこと言えないけどねw 、・・くらいに捉えておこう。しかしサイキック・TVの音楽に暗示され隠されていたものは、自然崇拝や多神教の信仰を意味するペイガニズム ( Paganism ) ＝古代英国の異教徒の自然主義儀式と、マヤ・ アステカ・インカ文明にみられる古代北アメリカの文明を統一することで、他にもジェネシスが音楽コンセプトに取り上げたものは、ティモシー・リアリー、チャールズ・マンソン、ジム・ジョーンズ、ウィリアム・バロウズ、ブライオン・ガイシン、アレイスタ・クローリー、オースティン・オスマン・スパーなどなど数え上げられないが、音楽や現実とは要するにカットアップなのであり、脳のなかにあるものは、単なる断片なんだということだ。サイキックTVの音楽を聴く時のひとつの概念遊びとしてイメージを拡張することが出来たのは楽しい知的遊戯でもあった。ジェネシス・P・オーリッジの世

界で、彼が最も強く視覚的に影響されていたのは、実はアメリカの実験映画を作り続けているケネス・アンガー ( Kenneth Anger ) ではなかったのか、という思いがボクにはある。ケネス・アンガーがアレイスター・クロウリーに触発された呪物崇拝的なイメージを主題にローリング・ストーンをフィーチャーした " Invocation Of My Demon Brother " や、フェティッシュなメタルキッズたちの呪物崇拝的なイメージが描かれた'64年の " Scopio Rising " 、カルト的儀式、神話世界が描かれた'73年の " Lucifer Rising "などなど、こうした映像を見る度にジェネシスはまるでケネス・アンガーの映画に登場する主人公のような様々な魔法のシンボリズム/シジルで満たされた世界を構築し続けてきたともいえるだろう。そして、ロックとは何だったのか? その答えに、" 主人公は自分の夢に満足できず、光を求めて夜の世界へと出ていき、針の目に吸い込まれてしまう。夢のまた夢、彼はより空虚な気分でベッドに戻るのだ " というアンガーの言葉を引用しておこう。

***ルシファー（Lucifer）とは、ユダヤ教、およびキリスト教の伝統で、サタンの別名とされる。（イスラム教ではイブリースに相当）「ルシファー」は英語からの音訳で、その他日本では、ルキフェル（羅）、ルシフェル（西 Lucifer, 葡 Lúcifer）、ルチーフェロ（伊 Lucifero）などとも表記される。Lucifer はもともと、ラテン語で「光を帯びたもの」（lux 光 + -fer 帯びている、生ずる）を意味し、キリスト教以前から「明けの明星」を指すものとして用いられ、オウィディウスやウェルギリウスなどの詩歌にも見られる語である。無論、ヘブライ語の旧約聖書にも、ギリシャ語の新約聖書にも使われてはおらず、元来は、サタンや堕天使といった伝説と一切無縁のものだった。

**Artzenkraft (vid007) While cleaning my garage recently, I came upon this 'lost' videotape I made, residing in an unmarked box, along with some other ephemera from the event...well, I couldn't leave well enough alone and decided to edit the VHS (NTSC) tape into eight parts (or 'Tabs' using the vernacular of the band) Presented here is 'Tab 1' featuring an 'invocation' of sorts, performed by PTV, heralding their self-imposed 'exile' from England. This was on April 29, 1992 in Los Angeles, CA U.S.A at La Casa documenting the Savage House produced 'rave'...Shiva's Erotic Banquet. This was at the height of the 'Ultrahouse' and 'Acid-House' period of the band. Post-Kondole.

Born in Boston, Fred Giannelli began experimenting with electronics in the late '70s as Turning Tranz, but a 1984 meeting with Psychic TV's Genesis P. Orridge at his local radio station changed his direction. By 1988, Giannelli was part of the group, working on Techno Acid Beat and Kondole. He gradually separated himself from Psychic TV and began working on the Plus 8 label with Richie Hawtin as Spawn. Under the Plus 8 banner, he later formed the Telepathic label for his own industrial/techno recordings as the Acid Didj, Giannelli, Deneuve and Mazdaratti (which are collected on Telepathic's Telepathic Wisdom, Vol. 1.)

'54年に、ブライオン・ガイシン ( Brion Gysin ) は " 1001 " というナイト・クラブをタンジールで経営していたが、60-70年代を通してウィリアムＳ・バローズでとともに行動し，バロウズにカットアップやフォールオン手法を吹き込んだことでも有名でお互いに影響を与え合っていた。この1001という店はわずか2、3ヵ月で閉店したが、モロッコの音楽家を招いて一晩中コンサートを催し彼の神話が生まれた場所でもあった。ドリームマシーンは、60年代前半に自然科学者Ian Sommervilleの助けでBrion Gysinが発明したもので、78rpmの回転速度でターンテーブルにセットされる。回転する円筒から点滅して漏れる光りは、まぶたを通して神経を刺激し催眠効果をもたらすドラッグのような装置だ。

Thee hammer house of horror interpretation of Magick and Wicca is that curses and invocations are uttered by black robed crones whilist they eat frogs and rat tails and drink bats blood. In fact so rare is thee energy of pure undiluted anger that thee true mechanism of of magickal defence is missed. It is a frequency generated and transmitted, just like a television signal. It does not need conscious direction. It homes in on thee receptor by default. That is, they are consciously disconnected from thee caring and protection of thee Individual angered. This exposes them to thee vagaries of neurotic mass subconscious and within that mass thee anger still lurks.
In a sense Magick is a Zen Archer. By a combination od thee initial pure anger, and a second stage of disconnection, considered disinterest, it is able to defend it self by channeling "Active Truth". In simple terms. When you care for a person, or are closely involved with them in some way. Then they betray, abuse or corrupt that caring. You remove your protection. When you remove your protection they are once more open to those forces and pitfalls from which you protected them. A true curse is to us then a technique of inaction and non-violence from which we can perceive thee effects of revenge without recourse to guilt on your part. Magick defends itself. It comes from intuition, is guided by will, and honours no gods, demons, or spirits. It is thee birthright of all human beings and thee prodgeny of thir brain not some outside superbeing. Politicians and Religious leaders of ALL persuasions hypocritically tell us otherwise. Believe none of them. Believe only your own experiences of life. To die free of guilt is to die pure. A star. And every man and woman is a star.

**Recorded by person or persons unknown during thee revolutionary mass suicide at Jonestown, Guyana on November 17 & 18, 1978 of members of thee Peoples Temple of thee Disciples of Christ(whoever he was). This event was directed, stage managed and instigated by thee Rev. Jim Jones. Thee audio quality is, needless to say, not so much hi-fi as low-fi. It does remain however a unique document of thee audible words spoken by thee Rev. Jim Jones and thee participants of this action as it took place.
Thee original recordings now reside in certain files in Washington DC, USA. Those who do not remember thee past are condemned to repeat it. Thee LP was originally issued in 1984 by thee World Satanic Network System (W.S.N.S.) in conjunction with Monte Cazazza and T.O.P.Y. It serves as a finite and clearly defined expample of submission to religious dogma, and control by an insatiable ego. Thee root of social control was acted out to its ultimate conclusion. A gift to a supposedly loving god. Thee original edition numbered 789* copies, one for each dead body at Jonestown. These were picture discs in black and white, hand-numbered in gold. This new edition is unlimited. It is a part of our MODERN ANTHROPOLOGY SERIES.
